Set in Singapore 2025 and inspired by supernatural folklores of vengeful female spirits in Asia, we explore the modern-day equivalent of these mysterious entities. AKA, a Gen-Z ghost. We are combining ghost folklore with a recent digital epidemic in Asia of image-based sexual abuse of young girls in cyber spaces such as Telegram channels through the lens of one of its victims who “unalived” herself – Megan, our protagonist.
